Sunday FUNday

We had such a good day today.  We spent the day as a family minus Shelbey and Beau.  We started the day off by taking our puppy, Cash to the dog park for the first time.  He was so funny!  He was a little scared to get out of the truck at first, but once he got in the park he had a blast!  I must say we have a rather social puppy on our hands.  He was immediately drawn to a yellow lab and then made his way around the park meeting and sniffing everyone.  He was very worn out after the dog park, he napped the day away!

We came home from lunch and played in the back yard.  My Jacie is an outdoor girl!  We blew bubbles - I think the dog enjoys the bubbles just as much as Jace!  We also played chase and peek-a-boo!  Oh what fun!

We ended the night playing in her room which she had remodeled.  If you need her services, not only does she mow, she remodels very well!  Man a 2 year old can make a mess in a matter of minutes!

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!  :)

Tough Outing

Well, today was the first official game of our football season.  Boy, it was a tough outing for the Demolition boys.  I wish I had good news report, but not so much.  Beau plays that game with all of his heart and I personally think as parents that is all you can ask of a child.  Our cheerleaders had a good start, they were loud and proud!  All in all, I am looking forward to reporting good news next week!

Here is a pic of our sweet babies from after the game.  Jacie didn't want much to do with the camera, but oh well we got a pic of all them toegther.  Even after a tough loss, Beau lights up with Jacie in his presence.  Jacie is super lucky to have Shelbey and Beau.  They are so good to her, they are already very protective of my sweet baby!  I think Beau will end being more protective of Jacie growing up and dating than her daddy will!!!

Jacie has also tt'ed on the potty two days in a row now!  Whoo hoo!  We are pretty proud of that accomplishment.  She very independent and will take all these big girl steps in her timing.  I am in no rush with the potty training because I know when she is ready, she will do it!  I mean I don't think that she will be going to Kindergarten with her diaper on.

She has asked for the paci a couple times in the last two days but I just continue to say that is broken and gone forever.  Surprisingly, she seems to be ok with answer.

No plans for tomorrow just yet.... what shall we get into...... I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend!

Jacie for Hire

Well, tonight was Daddy's night off from football so he mowed the yard.  Jacie decided she would whip out her mower too and give him a hand!  She is such the helper these days.  She discovered half way through that her mower made bubbles!  Every time a bubble would come out though, she would stop mowing.  So needless to say we didn't have too many bubbles but lots of mowing my friends!  If need some cheap labor, please contact us..... Jacie is for hire!  :)

On another note, for those who know my Jacie well, she LOVES her paci.  Well, paci turned into a chew toy more so than a pacifer.  The poor paci looks as though her dog Cash had gotten a hold of it!  So now paci has become a choking hazard.  Yesterday when I picked her up from Ms. Linda's I kept telling her that if she continued to chew paci to would be broken forever.  I asked her "Jace, do you really NEED paci?" she replied "no!" Wow, I was shocked!  She handed paci over and she has not asked for it since, she even slept well without it.  I think paci has gone to paci heaven!  Yippee!  Now the random strangers telling me that my daughter doesn't need a paci can HUSH!  My Jace is BIG GIRL!
